Within the boundaries of this painting I have strived to capture the serenity of this Brookside church.  Much of life is like the flowing stream reflecting the outline of the church.  You can never cross the bridge over the exact same flowing water twice.  In a like manner you cannot retrace your footsteps back to the day passed to what you wish might have been.

      If  you are not moving forward in your faith journey you may become a flowing trickle.  The stream in this painting is vitalized by its Creator God to flow and should it stop —  stagnates, dries up and ceases to exist.

      Christian faith also requires constant revitalization of its maturing and sustaining power in our life. Time is metered to all in equal measure and it is only how we choose to invest that time that determines our tomorrows.
