Faith finds are presented to encourage you in life’s challenges
and that your faith would strengthen and grow.
FLAWED MAN
I am a flawed man who on many occasions stumbles and falls while seeking to obey and please God. When I pick myself up I have the assurance of knowing my Lord is with me in spite of my flaws. He alone knows me as I wish to be and what the actions of my heart will propel me to become.
I must therefore listen with an attentive spirit to hear God’s indwelling voice. Revealing to me what is for no other man’s circumstance in life but mine. Enabling me then to recognize the silent roar of His voice. To lift, comfort and sustain me. When this is perfected within me the outward man will evidence this truth through a surrendered dependency on the One who is without flaw.
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
UNDERSTANDING
The longer I live the less I understand the why-me events that over power and shape my life. I often have trials thrust upon me that I wish were relegated for someone else to endure. However, it is through these lapses of understanding that my faith transcends its environment. It lifts my downcast eyes and fixes their gaze on the unseen presence of God. Who as my creator understands my frailty. I may not understand the why-me events in life but I know that faith dwelling within me is a presence that is my window of understanding.
Psalm 119:116 “Sustain me according to thy word that I may live.”
